Certification of Satellite Communications Set AN/WSC-3 Aboard the USS AINSWORTH (DE 1090). 21 JAN 1974
Authors:  P. Wasem; NAVAL ELECTRONIC SYSTEMS TEST AND EVALUATION DETACHMENT PATUXENT RIVER MD
The full text of this report is not available and therefore is not for sale. This information is provided for reference purposes only.Satellite Communications Set AN/WSC-3, Antenna Group OE-82A/WSC-1(V), and associated interface equipments installed aboard the USS AINSWORTH (DE 1090) were checked for proper operation for subsequent operational evaluation. Testing included a surface examination and verification of terminal performance, antenna performance, and proper baseband interface. Two AN/WSC-3 module failures and two OE-82A/WSC-1(V) equipment failures occurred during the shipboard validation tests and were satisfactorily resolved. Two required AN/WSC-3 modifications were installed with satisfactory ...

Analytic Mathematical Models of Tactical Military Communications Channels. DEC 1973
Authors:  R. T. Chien; C. L. Chen; A. H. Haddad; F. P. Preparata; S. Tsai; ILLINOIS UNIV AT URBANA COORDINATED SCIENCE LAB
The full text of this report is not available and therefore is not for sale. This information is provided for reference purposes only. One major purpose of this project is to study mathematical methods of modeling the actual tranmission data so that several parameters of a model can capture the essence of the statistical performance of data transmission on a real channel. This model when verified to be an accurate representation could then be used compactly in the computer to simulate the behavior of the real channel or to evaluate the performance of ...
