Iron, nickel, copper, and cobalt in tungsten and tungsten alloys are analyzed spectrophotometrically by taking aliquots of a hydrofluoricnitric acid solution that has been buffered to a pH of 6 by the addition of ammonium tartrate and sodium borate.
