An attempt was made to compare the permeability rates of three salicylate esters in membranes prepared from anhydrous callous tissue. The difference in the permeability rates of methylsalicylate in membranes composed of stratum corneum conjunctum and membranes prepared from excised human callous tissue were investigated. (Author)
