This document publicly commemorates the art and science of 50 years of US Long Range Detection (LRD). LRD is the technical ability to detect, locate, and identify nuclear explosions occurring at remote distances on (or under) the surface of the earth, under its oceans, in its atmosphere, or deep in outer space.
