The Logistics Equipment Directorate is responsible for development and engineering support of the family of water supply equipment, including the Reverse Osmosis Water Purification Units (ROWPU). The Army is using a cationic polyelectrolyte to coagulate suspended particles thereby increasing the effectiveness of the ROWPU's multi-media filter.
