This paper discusses the results of a recently completed flight test of an ITT VRS-1290 speaker dependent, continuous speech recognition system onboard a NASA Lewis Research Center OV-10A aircraft. A 54-word vocabulary was tested with thirteen pilots using an M-162 boom-mounted microphone on the ground and under 1g and 3g flight conditions.
