DTA, differential scanning calorimetry, thermomechanical analysis, and TGA were used to evaluate the thermal properties of several polymers, refractories, and solid propellants. Reproducibility was attained which permitted identification by comparing a curve to a spectrum of predetermined curves measured at specific conditions.
