The rate constants of 25 reactions involving sulfur-containing ions or molecules at 298 K have been measured. A Nuclide 12-90-G mass spectrometer has been modified for potential use as an ion photofragment momentum spectrometer. It is demonstrated to have the capability of resolving vibrational structure in the momentum distribution of NO(+) produced by photodissociation of N2O(+) with a detector slit width of 0.25 mm.
