The condensation coefficients of C2 and C3, the high temperature vapor species of carbon, were determined by using the isotopic exchange technique and a time-of-flight mass spectrometer. Two powder compacts of C12(s) and C13(s) were heated to 2663K in a tungsten Knudsen cell.
