In this project, TDA successfully developed and demonstrated a safe and effective prophylactic coating to achieve very effective decontamination of porous substrates with a water wash. The coating is particularly effective against G-agents (virtually complete protection), and is also very effective against sulfur mustard, agent MD, reducing heavy (10 g/sq m) MD contamination by over 99.5% when rinsed with water.
