A desert tortoise radiotelemetry study was conducted at Sand Hill Training Area of the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center (MCAGCC), Twentynine Palms, CA, in the southcentral Mojave Desert. Two square study plots were established, each 9 km(2).
