By using the results of general similarity, the problem of modeling the hypersonic flow about a reentry cone is reviewed. The techniques developed are applied to a specific proposed ballistic range experiment. (Author)
An experimental study was performed of the unsteady processes in the starting period of a supersonic Ludwieg tube, a device which operates like an intermittent supersonic wind tunnel.
