Synthesis of thirty-four compounds were investigated during the contract period. The varied use of the target compounds include: potential cyanide poisoning antidotes, anti-malarial primaquins, organophosphate antidotes, antivesicants, and spin labeled and fluorescent probes.
The synthesis of sixteen compounds were investigated during the annual period. The preparation of thirteen of the target compounds were completed and the products were transmitted to WRAIR in nineteen submissions. The varied uses for the target compounds include: potential cyanide poisoning antidotes, organophosphate poisoning antidotes, antivesicants, and spin labeled and fluorescent probes. The synthesis of eighteen target compounds were investigated during the annual period. The preparation of eleven of the target compounds, three of which are new to the chemical literature, were completed and the products were transmitted to WRAIR.
