| This report explores the effect of reenlistment policies and incentives on first-term soldiers' reenlistment intentions and behavior. A selected set of items from the 1986-1987 New Recruit Surveys (NRS) and the 1989 Recruit Experience Tracking Survey (RETS) was analyzed to address policy concerns.
