The present work was undertaken with the aim of carrying out an x-ray diffraction analysis of ultrafine boron nitride powders of different mean particle sizes. The specific surfaces of the powders, determined by the low-temperature krypton adsorption method, were 650, 470, and 260 sq m/g. In the investigated range of a change of the parameters mu characteristic for turbines of GTD, the intensity of heat exchange in air-cooled blades, measured during tests at static installations and in turbine stages under conditions of rotation, remains constant.
