Diffusion coefficient measurements in both aqueous micelles and microemulsions have been carried out using the techniques of polarography and quasielastic light scattering (QLS). The former method involves the determination of the diffusion coefficient of an electroactive oil soluble probe at a polarizable microelectrode.
