The FIDEP2 (Finite-Difference code for Elastic-viscoplastic analysis) is a PC-compatible, user-friendly computer code developed in-house at the Materials Directorate, Air Force Research Laboratory, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. The program is capable of predicting micromechanical stresses in metal matrix composites under complex thermal and mechanical loading histories.
