An investigation was conducted on the high temperature oxidation behavior of Ni-(20-80)Cr-1Si-0.5Ce alloys. Increasing Cr content and the oxidation time increased the weight gain of the alloys. The surface oxide on a Ni-20Cr-1Si-0.5Ce displayed good adherence after oxidation at 1373 and 1473 K, whereas the other alloys showed partial spallation at the oxide/alloy interface.
