Abstract: The audit objective was to evaluate the overall management of the Air Force B-1 Fully Integrated Data Link (FIDL) Program. Because the program is in the system development and demonstration (SDD) phase, we determined whether management was effectively preparing the program for the low-rate initial production (LRIP) phase of the acquisition process. We also evaluated the internal controls as they related to the audit objectives. Appendix B provides a glossary of technical terms used in this report.
