Abstract:
The FASS Training Manual is designed as a self study management tool to introduce the many features available in FASS. The manual is divided into four day modules. The operator should expect to spend approximately 2-4 hours in each module. Day 1 - Getting Started introduces starting Fass, quitting FASS, and the on-Line Tutorial. Day 2 - Data Selection consists of creating, deleting, browsing, sorting, exporting, importing, merging, and summarizing data sets. Day 3 - FASS Procedures introduces several mechanisms to present your data such as standard reports, adhoc reports, frequency distributions, tabular listings, graphic displays, and statistical analysis. Day 4 - FASS Utility Features include accessing FASS programs, FASS utility modules, and setting up general system parameters. FASS Version 2.1.a Training Manual, July 1992.
