Abstract: This report satisfies the requirements of the Damage Control Operational Concepts (DCOC) contract with the Office of Naval Research, (ONR). The Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) has been conducting research into the effect of reduced manning on the conduct of Damage Control (DC) operations in US Navy ships under the Damage Control-Automation for Reduced Manning (DC-ARM) program. This research is ongoing This report will enhance that research by reviewing Water Mist (WM) firefighting technologies.
