Abstract:
NC A&T State University, in collaboration with US Air Force Research Laboratory Addis Ababa University and Bahir Dar University and the Instituto Nacional De Meteorologica E. Geofisica will organize the 2nd International SCINDA Workshop in Addis Ababa Ethiopia, during the period of November 11-16, 2007. The workshop is sponsored by a grant obtained from the European Office for Aerospace Research and Development (EOARD) and United States Air Force. Scientists from Ethiopia, Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Kenya, Mozambique, South Africa and USA will participate in the workshop. The overall goals of the workshop are to establish space science expertise and develop a network of space weather observations across Africa.
