Authors: J. P. Cuellar; R. K. Johnston; SOUTHWEST RESEARCH INST SAN ANTONIO TX
Abstract:
Lubricant storage stability data are presented for two separate programs, each of 2 years' duration, using controlled storage conditions. One study dealt solely with the stability characteristics of a MIL-L-7808 lubricant. The second program involved five lubricant types including one MIL-L-9236B lubricant, one MIL-L-23699 type fluid, one MIL-L-27502 fluid, a 5P4E polyphenyl ether, and one experimental lubricant formulation related to polyphenyl ether.
