Abstract:
After completion of the low temperature leakage test, the installation was inspected. After removal of the cells the cavities were examined, and the brown paper lining was found to be severely stained indicating leakage. It was apparent that severe leakage had occurred from the nipple type interconnector fitting in the cells.
