Abstract: This technical note summarizes the development and application of mass-rearing techniques using ponds at the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) Lewisville Aquatic Ecosystem Research Facility (LAERF), Lewisville, TX for the biological control agents Hydrellia pakistanae Deonier and H. balciunasi Bock for use on Hydrilla verticillata (L.f.) Royle. Information is provided on rearing methods, releases, and associated costs.
