Data Reporting for Composite Materials Test Methods

Authors: Crystal H. Newton; Richard E. Fields; MARTIN MARIETTA ELECTRONICS AND MISSILES GROUP ORLANDO FL
Abstract:
Often including such items as "complete identification of the material", traditionally, the data reporting section in many composite materials test methods has incorporated broad, ambiguous requests. users respond to such requests differently; some will report a material specification or a commercial name, while others report more complete information including name, specification, processing and so on. while this approach does have flexibility for different objectives in using the test methods, the lack of standardization in this section of the test methods makes computerization difficult.
