IMPREGNANTS FOR EXPANDABLE RIGIDIZABLE AEROSPACE STRUCTURES.

Authors: WYANDOTTE CHEMICALS CORP MICH
Abstract:
Select candidate materials arising from earlier investigations were more fully characterized. Investigations of a fluted glass fabric, as a candidate structural component for rigidizable structures, were performed. Two ketone blocked amines were synthesized and characterized. Included in this report are investigations of flexural properties of urethane laminates and shelf stabilities of urethane prepolymers at various temperatures. Also included is the investigation of curing rates of urethane laminates at various temperatures. (Author)
